Blues Harmonica + Jazzy Vocals + Hip-Hop Beats

Strange Blues

Strange Blues is what happens when jazz vocals have a get down with hip-hop instrumentals, and get a big slice of harmonica on top. Strange Blues is a funky interpretation of a classic music, refined for a modern age.
Strange Blues is the creation of American musician/producer Ronnie Strange. Born and raised in Chicago, Ronnie cut his teeth keeping up with the famed blues harp jams at legendary clubs such as Kingston Mines and B.L.U.E.S. After moving to Los Angeles, he started performing and recording with a long list of R&B, blues, and hip-hop musicians such as En Vogue, Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King, Freddy Foxx, Johnny ‘Vatos’ Hernandez, Bernie Pearl (where Ronnie stood in for the late, great Harmonica Fats), Dean Butterworth, Big Broom, Jonny Rivers, and the Pimp Daddies.
Now operating out of a secret headquarters in Spain, Strange Blues is ready to transport you to a place outside time and space.
